My Review
My Ranking: ★★(2 stars)
I was not a fan of this, and the ending was less plausible. The kid was making everything up. The character was too shallow to pull off such a deception. The plot hinges on the flimsy idea that the girl believes she's the reincarnation of a local woman whose tragic past involves her husband's guilt over a fatal accident. While the story features an interesting role reversal with the father as the main caregiver, the narrative falters with its implausible elements. For instance, the girl supposedly finds an old phone, manages to unlock it, and uses it to impersonate the deceased woman—despite the phone’s likely dead battery after nine years. The plot’s explanation that the girl wanted attention feels weak and unconvincing.
